Using Buddy Icons in AIM

Using the buddy icons which you can download from above within AOL instant messenger is quite easy. Follow the steps outlined below and you'll be using the icons in a matter of seconds!

1. Download a buddy icon set that you like from above.
2. Open the set so you can use the icons inside it.
3. Open your AIM buddy list window and press F3 on your keyboard.
4. Click on Buddy Icons in the categories on the left of the preferences dialog.
5. Now click on Browse PC and find and select one of the buddy icons from the pack.
6. Press OK to close the dialog window and your new buddy icon should now be seen by your AIM buddies!
